From November 14, 2024 to January 12, 2025, experience an enchanting night with Koda’s Adventure to the Magical Forest at Citi Field in Flushing! Walk through the whimsical wonderland to see Koda’s dreams through the luminous art installations. Try out delicious foods and beverages at our Forest Food Court, enjoy live cultural music and dance performances throughout the journey, and complete your visit with a trip to the Marketplace, filled with unique, handcrafted treasures.

Koda's Adventure

Koda and his father arrived at Caballococha in eastern Peru, marking the beginning of their long-awaited journey into the Amazon rainforest. Every night, Koda found it difficult to fall asleep. While lying under his blankets, he sketched everything he had seen during the day. Visitors will be able to experience his imagination come to life through our luminous lights and lanterns! However, perhaps due to his excitement, his memories and imagination started to merge, creating a magical fusion of animals and plants… Koda needs your help to find his missing memory fragments. If you successfully help him recall his memories, he will have a gift waiting for you at the end! Make sure to read each hint carefully and pay attention as you make your way through this adventure to redeem your prize!

Live Performances

Music

The guzheng and pipa are traditional Chinese plucked string instruments commonly used to play folk music, and they remain popular to this day. While the guzheng is normally played with finger picks made from materials such as plastic and tortoiseshell, the pipa is hand-picked. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy live performances of the guzheng and pipa somewhere along Koda’s Adventure!

Dance

The peacock dance is a famous performance originating from the Dai ethnic group in Yunnan, China. It mimics the graceful movements of a peacock, which is believed to symbolize luck, kindness, and beauty. It is often performed with costumes and masks to further resemble a peacock.

Marketplace

Aluminum Braiding

Aluminum braiding is a traditional folk handicraft that involves using aluminum wire and other metal materials, which are oxidized to produce various colors. Using pliers and other tools, craftspeople use techniques such as folding, bending, binding, and weaving to create various shapes, including mythical creatures like dragons and phoenixes, as well as plants and vehicles.

Inner-Bottle Painting

Inner-bottle painting is a unique and traditional craft in China, featuring intricate designs created inside clear bottles made of glass, crystal, amber, and other materials. This art form involves meticulous craftsmanship, with artists using a specialized paintbrush inserted through the neck of the bottle to hand-paint detailed pictures.

Lanterns

Chinese lanterns are an ancient handicraft that originated in the Han Dynasty, flourished in the Tang Dynasty. Over thousands of years, lanterns have evolved into various regional styles. They are traditionally hand crafted from materials such as bamboo, silk, beads, jade, feathers, and shells. These lanterns are decorated through techniques like binding, pasting, embroidery, painting, writing, carving, and paper-cutting.

Panda Merch

The panda is one of the world’s most protected species, renowned for its distinctive black-and-white coat and rotund body. Our marketplace offers a variety of panda-themed items, including dolls, backpacks, scarves, keychains, and more.

Event Information

The event will be exhibited from November 14, 2024 to January 12, 2025. It will be open every day, including holidays. It will be closed on November 18, December 20, December 9, December 16, and January 6.
The event is open from 5pm to 10pm. Last entry to the event is at 9:00pm.
This is an outdoor event, however there will be tents placed around the venue with heaters.

Getting There

Parking will be charged by Citi Field for $30/car. More details on parking information will be available in September.
We are conveniently located by Line7 and other public transit options are available. For more transit information, please visit this link here.

Experience

The walk of the experience will be less than 1 mile, and we recommend spending an hour and a half or the entire experience. Visitors need to come to the festival on the time slot window of their tickets, and once you’re in the festival, you may stay until the event is closed at 10:00pm.

Yes! We encourage you to take as many photos as you like. However, no drones are allowed in the area, and photographing or videotaping for commercial purposes must obtain prior consent of the event organizer.

Only service animals are permitted into the event.

Food and Drink

Yes, there will be vendors for food and drinks.

Outside food, beverage and alcohol are not allowed on the event ground. Exceptions will be made to infant food and people with medical needs.

Accessibility

The event is ADA accessible on flat paved ground.
Yes, ADA parking will be available at the festival. More information will be available in September.

Yes, visitors can bring their wheelchairs or kid’s wagons. The event does not provide wheelchairs or kids’ wagons for rent.

Ticketing

Ticket sales are final and no refunds will be provided for unused tickets. In case of inclement weather when the event must be closed, ticket holders will be notified by emails and a refund will be issued automatically.
    Ticket holders may change the date and time of their tickets one day prior to their event start time. Please see instructions here on how to change your ticket date and time.
Yes, our onsite box-office is open nightly from 5:00 – 9:00 PM. There will be a surcharge of $5-$10 for walk-up tickets.
Please contact us via the contact form and provide the name and email address that you used to purchase tickets. We’ll resend the tickets to you.
You will receive the tickets via email with a QR code. We’ll scan the QR code at the festival entrance on your mobile devices. You will NOT need to print out the tickets.
We don’t have a gift card option at the moment, but you may purchase the tickets and email them to the person/people that you wish to gift to.
Yes, groups of 20 people and more will receive a 20% off discount. The Group ticket option is on the event calendar.

It includes the walk-through experience and the small performance included in some scenes. Parking and food are available onsite but need to be purchased separately.
All ticket holders will be notified by email if an event is canceled due to inclement weather. All tickets for that date will be refunded automatically, and it can take 1-3 business days for the funds to go back to your account.
The box office manager will handle late entry case-by-case. Late arrivals will be allowed in when the venue has not exceeded its capacity; when the venue exceeds its capacity, late arrivals may have to wait until the venue is less crowded.
